How many children do you cater for?

We like to keep numbers  to a minimum so as to not stress our animals as their welfare is our main priority. We provide packages for up to 15 children and packages for up to 30 children.

In cases where there are more than 15 people attending, everyone may not be able to hold and touch everything as we have a lot of animals to go through, but we do make sure that the birthday child gets to hold and touch everything they can regardless of the amount of people attending.

We advise that any parents that are staying in a different room as most of the time they cause most of the noise!

What animals do you bring?

Accepted Answer

We aim to bring a variety of animals with us.

These will generally consist of the following:

Safari Package/The Ultimate Party Package:

Snakes
Bearded dragon
Leopard gecko
Tarantula
Scorpion
Giant millipedes
Madagascan hissing cockroaches
Hedgehog
Tortoises
Ferret
Rabbit
Stick-insects

Guinea pigs

Pygmy hedgehog
Lion-head rabbit
Ferret

Because our animals come first, if we do not feel that a certain animal is fit for travelling/handling on that day then we regretfully will not be able to bring them with us. This protects the safety and welfare of both the animal and guests attending our shows.

If either an animal from the list above or one you have requested cannot attend then we will do our best to replace it with a similar animal. We hope you understand.

How many handlers will attend of event?

If you have booked the Safari/Minis party package with us then a maximum of 2 handlers will be attending your event.

For the ultimate party package and parties with added extras we usually have between 2-4 members of staff to help.

Question 4

Can I have my party outside?

Accepted Answer

Of course, however, this does depend on the weather and the handlers judgement.

If we feel it is warm enough for the exotics and there is enough shade provided then we will be able to work outside. However, do not fully rely on the British weather! It can change at any minute so please have some backup space available inside for us to work or we may not be able to attend your event.

Can I have my party at home?

Yes of course! As long as you don't mind 15 kids and exotic animals in your home then feel free. We do however strongly advise booking halls for your event.

Question 6

How much space do you need?

Accepted Answer

We can accommodate most spaces, our table is 6ft, all animals will fit on or under the table.
 
There just needs to be enough space for the children to sit in a semi-circle.
 
For parties, we do recommend hiring a hall as we have a lot of equipment which can take up a lot of space. Halls also allow children enough room to run around and dance.

Do you explain how to hold and stroke your animals?

At the beginning we will go through a couple of important rules, these include how we handle our animals. We will also remind you how to handle each animal before bringing them around.

Can the children eat or drink while the animals are out?

We would advise not to consume any food or drink during our animal talks.

How long in advance should I make a booking with you?

Accepted Answer

We would advise you to book at least 6 months in advance to avoid disappointment. We sometimes get cancellations so if you have a last minute booking please contact us to see if we have availability for you.

What age groups are your sessions appropriate for?

Accepted Answer

We cater for children 1 plus! Yes even the adults! Each party package on our 'Parties Page' will explain which age group it is appropriate for which package.

Can my pets be at home during the party?

Accepted Answer

Of course! As long as they are in a separate room during our session.

What time will you arrive?

Accepted Answer

We will always aim to arrive 30 minutes prior to your booking time for all parties in order to set up. We aim to arrive 1-2 hours prior to your Ultimate Party Package booking time in order to decorate your venue in time.

Question 13

Do I need to cater for your parking requirements?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we need to be able to park within a close proximity to your venue.
 
Any payment meter charges or fines must be paid by the client.
 
If parking is not available for us on the day then we may not be able to continue your booking with us and a refund will not be offered.

Are your animals friendly/do they bite?

Accepted Answer

Most of our animals are very use to being handled and are very docile. Those that aren't are not handled or touched, only shown for educational purposes such as the scorpion.

The children will be able to handle and touch most of our animals, however we do save some animals for only the birthday child to hold.
